You Can Remove the Old Factory RV2 A/C Compressor & Install The New Low HorsePower Robbing Sanden In The Same Exact Location! No Ad-On Pulley, Nothing But Factory! Works with Factory Crankshaft Pulley (470-4013) and Water pump Pulley (470-4016) along with factory style A/C Alternator Mounting Brackets
FITS UNDER MOST SHAKER BONNETS, FRESH AIR CLEANERS & SIX PACK FACTORY AIR CLEANERS
Fits: '67 & Later 383,400, & 440 with Cast Iron Water Pump Housings. Will not work with Aluminum Water Pump Housings or early cast iron housings with casting numbers: 1944916, 2205862, & 2468007
Works with most all aftermarket cylinder heads (some with only minor modifications) & ALL KNOWN INTAKES
Pulleys Required: 470-4013, 470-4016 (Add "C" to each for Chrome)
Compressor Included: 504-270 Sanden SD508
Alternator Brackets Required: 383/400 470-5254 426W/440 470-5253
NOTE: For Cleaner installation, we recommend mounting the compressor with both ,suction & discharge ports, pointing towards right side inner fender. Then use a pair of 45 degree fittings (461-1312-3 & 461-1313-3) at compressor, and route hoses across top of Alternator.
