A/C Compressor Mounting Bracket Kit for Slant 6 

 

Fits 170 cu.in./198 cu.in./225 cu.in. Slant Six, Super 6/ Super Six Slant 6 Engines 1961-1986 with Power Steering. Just Add the BPE7312 Shorty Double V Groove Sanden Style Compressor  Kit comes with Mount Assembly,  and all Fastener Hardware... Just add BPE7312 Compressor & drive belt. Kit Works with Power Steering ONLY.

 

Works: Slant 6 170 cu.in./198 cu.in./225 cu.in. Engines 1961-1986 with Power Steering

Pulleys Required: Must Have Factory Power Steering or the original Factory Bolt on Single Groove Crankshaft P.S. Pulley Pictured below.

Compressor Required: Must use BPE7312 or 7312 sanden Style Compressor

Alternator Brackets Required: Reuse Original / Reuse Original Pulleys

NOTE: Fan Clearance has to be determined during installation. With NEW Bracket Design, Smaller 7312 Compressor and moving Compressor rearwards, Fan Clearance is increased greatly.  Each Body Style is different on Fan Blade Fitment and clearance. Some applications have been known to require an electric fan or clearancing some fan blades.

If you have the bolt on single groove crankshaft pulley pictured below, but do not have power steering, we do offer an eccentric kit that allows teh Compressor Bracket to work without power steering, BUT WE DO NOT MANUFACTURER THAT O.E. PULLEY
