Factory Power Steering, with or without Factory A/C.
Direct Sanden Style Compressor Replacement Bracket for all 1969 and Earlier LA-Engines (5 Bolt Valve Covers) with or without Factory A/C Pulleys but MUST HAVE FACTORY POWER STEERING. Works with Most All Years of Intakes with Centered, Drivers Side Offset, and Passenger Side Offset Thermostat Housing. Must reuse the Factory Pulleys on the Engine.
Fits: 1969 & Earlier LA-Engines (5 Bolt Valve Covers)
Compressor Required: 504-256
Belt Arrangement:2nd Groove out crankshaft pulley, to Inner Groove on A/C Compressor to Power Steering Pump.
DAMPER REQUIREMENTS: Stock Style Production LA-Engine Damper or BPEHB318 Dampers.
Pulley Requirements: WE DO NOT MAKE ANY 1969 or Earlier LA-ENGINE PULLEYS to Support this Install
Alternator Bracket Requirement:Must reuse Original swing arm adjustment bracket
Alternator Requirement: Standard Style Chrysler Single V Groove like 250-BPE5302
Belt Requirements: Gates 7555 XL HD 56 1/8" (may differ due to P.S. Pulley Diameter)
Alt Belt Gates 7465XL HD 47 1/8"
NOTE: For a Cleaner installation, we recommend mounting the compressor with both suction & discharge ports, pointing towards right side inner fender. Then use a pair of 45 degree fittings (BLA1312-3 & BLA1313-3) at compressor, and route hoses across top of Alternator.
